ജോർജ്ജ് മാസൺ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി (മാസൺ) അമേരിക്കൻ ഐക്യനാടുകളിലെ സംസ്ഥാനമായ വിർജീനിയയിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ പൊതു ഗവേഷണ സർവ്വകലാശാലയാണ്.^[9] 1949 ൽ വിർജീനിയ സർവകലാശാലയുടെ ഒരു ശാഖയായി ഈ സർവ്വകലാശാല സ്ഥാപിക്കപ്പെടുകയും 1972 ൽ ഒരു സ്വതന്ത്ര സ്ഥാപനമായി മാറുകയും ചെയ്തു.^[1]:1
