ജീവിതരേഖ

1891ൽ ഇംഗ്ലണ്ടിലെ മാൻചെസ്റ്ററിൽ ജനിച്ചു. കേംബ്രിഡ്ജ് യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയിലായിരുന്നു ഉപരിപഠനം. 1924ൽ കാവൻഡിഷ് ലാബോറട്ടറിയിൽ അസിസ്റ്റന്റ് ഡയറക്ടറായി നിയമിതനായി .ആറ്റത്തിലെ ന്യൂട്രോൺ കണിക കണ്ടുപിടിച്ചത് ജെയിംസ് ചാഡ്വിക്കാണ്. 1935ൽ ന്യൂട്രോൺ കണ്ടുപിടിത്തത്തിനു അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് നോബൽ സമ്മാനം ലഭിച്ചു. 1974ൽ അന്തരിച്ചു.
