കാമറൂണിന്റെ പ്രസിഡന്റാണ് പോൾ ബിയ. 1982 നവംബറിൽ പ്രസിഡന്റായി സ്ഥനമേറ്റു. 28 വർഷമായി പദവിയിൽ തുടരുന്നു.[1]

കാമറൂണിലെ ഒരു ഗ്രാമത്തിൽ ജനിച്ചു. ലൈസീ ലൂയിസ് ലെഗ്രന്റിൽ പഠിച്ചു. 1961ൽ ബിരുദം നേടി.
1972-ൽ കാമറൂണിന്റെ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയായി. 1982ൽ അഹ്മദോ അഹിദ്ജോ രാജിവച്ചപ്പോൾ ബിയ സ്ഥാനമേറ്റു.[2][3] 2011-ൽ നടന്ന തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിലും വിജയിച്ചിരുന്നു.[4]
