ഗിസൽഡോൻ നദിയുടെ തീരത്തുള്ള റഷ്യയിലെ റിപ്പബ്ലിക് ഓഫ് നോർത്ത് ഓസ്സെറ്റിയ-അലാനിയയിലെ പ്രിഗൊറോഡൊനി ജില്ലയിലെ ഒരു ഗ്രാമമാണ് ദർഗാവ് (Ossetic: Дæргъæвс, Dærğævs). ദർഗാവ് എന്നാണ് ഈ ഗ്രാമത്തിന്റെ പേരെങ്കിലും "മരിച്ചവരുടെ നഗരം" എന്നാണ് ഈ പ്രദേശത്തെ വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. ടാഗോർറിയയിലെ ഓസ്സെറ്റിയൻ പ്രവിശ്യയുടെ കേന്ദ്രമായിരുന്നു ദർഗാവ്സ്.[6]

ഡാർഗാവ്സ് ഗ്രാമത്തിന് പുറത്ത് "മരിച്ചവരുടെ നഗരം" എന്ന് വിളിക്കുന്ന ഒരു അലാനിയൻ[6] നെക്രോപോളിസ് ഉണ്ട്. 99 വ്യത്യസ്ത ശവകുടീരങ്ങളും നിലവറകളും ഇതിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു. ചില സ്രോതസ്സുകൾ പറയുന്നത് നിലവറകളിൽ ഏറ്റവും പഴക്കം ചെന്നത് പന്ത്രണ്ടാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിലേതാണെന്നും [7] എന്നാൽ മറ്റുചിലത് ഏറ്റവും പഴയ നിലവറ പതിനാലാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിലേതാണെന്നും [8] ചിലത് 16 ആം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിലേതാണെന്നും പറയുന്നു. സമുച്ചയത്തിന്റെ പിൻഭാഗത്ത് ഒരു ഗോപുരം കാണാം. അതിന്റെ മുകൾഭാഗം നശിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.
