കാവി ലിപി

കാവി[lower-roman 1] അല്ലെങ്കിൽ പഴയ ജാവനീസ് ലിപി, പ്രാഥമികമായി ജാവയിൽ കാണപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു ബ്രാഹ്മിക് ലിപിയാണ്, ഇത് 8-ആം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിനും 16-ആം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിനും ഇടയിൽ സമുദ്രതീരത്തുള്ള തെക്കുകിഴക്കൻ ഏഷ്യയിൽ ഉടനീളം ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്നു.[2] ഈ ലിപിയിൽ അക്ഷരങ്ങൾ സ്വാഭാവികമായ ഒരു സ്വരാക്ഷരത്തിൽ വായിക്കപ്പെടുന്നതിനാൽ ഈ ലിപി ഒരു അബുഗിഡ എന്ന അക്ഷരമാലാ പ്രമേയമാണ്. സ്വരാക്ഷരത്തെ അടിച്ചമർത്താനും ശുദ്ധമായ വ്യഞ്ജനാക്ഷരത്തെ പ്രതിനിധീകരിക്കാനും അല്ലെങ്കിൽ മറ്റ് സ്വരാക്ഷരങ്ങളെ പ്രതിനിധീകരിക്കാനും ഡയാക്രിറ്റിക്സ് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു.
