Alūzija ir literatūrā (prozā, dzejā), kinematogrāfijā vai citā mākslas veidā izmantots stilistisks paņēmiens — netieša atsauce (mājiens, norāde) uz kādu vispārzināmu kultūras faktu, vēsturisku notikumu, personu, pazīstamu tekstu (piemēram, Bībeles), literāru darbu, atsauces avotu neizskaidrojot.[1] Var būt tekstuālas un vizuālas alūzijas.
Alūziju izpratnei ir nepieciešamas zināšanas par problēmu, kurai alūzija ir veltīta. Alūzija ir iedarbīga tikai tad, ja jēdziens, uz kuru tiek norādīts, ir sabiedrībā nostiprinājies kā zināms un saprotams.
Alūzijas ir, piemēram, teicieni "Amora bulta", "pāriet Rubikonu", "Pirra uzvara", "trīsdesmit sudraba graši" u. tml. Alūzija uzskatāma par vienu no intertekstualitātes paveidiem.[2]
