Kirnaičių herbas – pagrindinis Kirnaičių kaimo ir Kepalių seniūnijos (Joniškio rajono savivaldybė) heraldinis atributas.
Herbas yra su šiaudiniu sodu. Jų „auginimo“ tradicija įtraukta į Lietuvos nematerialaus kultūros paveldo sąvadą.
Herbas patvirtintas 2019 m. lapkričio 22 d. LR Prezidento dekretu Nr. 1K-133.[1] Etalono autorius – Juozas Galkus, kuris pasiūlė bent 8 variantus nuo dirbančios moters iki duonos kepalo, taip tinkančio žemės ūkio kraštui. Bendruomenei patiko ir lauko darbų užbaigtuvių puokštė-kepurė, ir šiaudinis sodas. Valstybinė heraldikos komisija nusprendė, kad būtent iš šiaudų veriamas sodas yra tinkamiausias, nes jis atspindi įvairiapusę seniūnijos istoriją ir dabartį: juk šiaudas yra žemdirbystės produktas, o suvertas kruopščių ir talentingų rankų jis tampa papuošalu, liaudies menu, tad savyje talpina ir kultūrinį šio krašto svorį.[2]
Iš pradžių į Lietuvos heraldikos komisiją kreiptasi prašant sukurti herbą Kepaliams, kurie iki 1995 m. buvo Kepalių apylinkės centras ir iki šiol yra didesnė gyvenvietė nei Kirnaičiai, kur dabar įsikūrusi seniūnijos administracija. Tačiau minėta komisija patarė herbą kurti oficialiajam seniūnijos centrui. Sutarus, kuriai gyvenvietei bus kuriamas herbas, beliko nuspręsti, kas ją atspindės. Kaimo bendruomenių atstovų pageidavimai buvo susiję su šiame krašte plėtojama žemės ūkio veikla, kalbėta apie duonos ar grūdų simboliką.[3]
