Kalafatas (rumun. Calafat) – miestas pietvakarių Rumunijoje, Dolžo apskrityje, į pietvakarius nuo Krajovos, Dunojaus kairiajame krante, priešais Bulgarijos miestą Vidiną. Yra upių ir oro uostai, geležinkelio perkėla. 2013 m. birželį atidarytas 1,9 km ilgio Naujosios Europos vantinis tiltas per Dunojų, sujungęs Rumuniją ir Bulgariją. Metalo apdirbimo, elektrotechnikos, tekstilės (medvilnės), siuvimo, odos, maisto, medienos apdirbimo, statybinių medžiagų gamybos pramonė. Pramoninė žvejyba. Veikia etnologijos muziejus[1].

Miestas XIV a. įkurtas genujiečių pirklių. 1854 m., vykstant Krymo karui, netoliese įvyko Četatės mūšis tarp Rusijos ir Osmanų imperijos pajėgų.
