Periodus Iemdet Nasr est nomen datum faciei cuidam archaeologicae intra Historiam Medii Orientis Antiqui quae fuit in Mesopotamia in transitu inter periodum Orchoensem et aetatem dynasticam Sumeriam (3200 - 3000 a.C.n.). Origo nominis est in loco archaeologico ubi primo haec cultura materialis invenitur.

Hoc in tempore res propriae figlinarum periodus Orchoensis, quae tum inventae erant per Mesopotamiam omniam atque Anatoliam, Syriam et Persiam, evanuerunt in his regionibus circundantibus. In nucleo Mesopotameo fuit haec aetas tempus discriminis, et oppida prima mox in veris urbibus creverunt cum characteristicis propiis rerum publicarum, ita fuerunt origo urbium-civitatum aetatis Sumericae.
