Lacus Magni sunt quinque ampliores aquae dulcis lacus, in boreorientali America Septentrionali, secundum finem Canadae et Civitatum Foederatarum siti, qui cum Oceano Atlantico per Viam Marinam Sancti Laurentii et Viam Aquaticam Lacuum Magnorum conectuntur. Ei, in lacubus Superiore, Michigano, Huronorum, Eriarum, Andiatroco consistentes, una sunt maximus lacuum aquae dulcis grex in orbe terrarum notus, quibus sunt 21 centesimas Telluris aqua dulcis superficialis.[1][2][3] Superficies 94250 milia quadrata, volumen (apud datum aquae humilis mensum) 5439 milia cubica est.[4] Lacus a nonnullis civibus Civitatum Foederatarum aliquando Litus Septentrionale, vel Litus Tertium, appellantur.
