Lydia (Assyrice Luddu, Graece Λυδία, Turcice Lidya) fuit regnum aetatis ferreae Asiae Minoris occidentalis, ad orientem ab Ionia, in provinciis recentibus Turcicis Uşak, Manisa, Smyrnaque situm. Incolae Lydi appellati Lydie, una ex linguis Anatolicis, loquebantur. Summa magnitudine totam Asiae Minoris partem occidentalem comprehendebat.
