Crates dentatae[1] (vel irpex[2], vel occa[3]) sunt instrumentum rusticum, cum multis dentibus ferreis vel ligneis, pecten maior, quo arvum post arationem aequatur et complanatur vel perstringitur vel quo herbae exstirpantur. Irpicem ut plaustrum boves trahunt, ut eruant herbas serpentes[4].
