Consociatio internationalis ad naturam conservandam[1] (Anglice International Union for Conservation of Nature, IUCN; Francogallice Union internationale pour la conservation de la nature, UICN) est organizatio protectionis naturae inter civitates operans, dedicata "ad solutiones pragmaticas inveniendas gravissimarum nostrarum naturae progressúsque quaestionum".[2] Consociatio edidit Indicem rubrum, quae conservationis status specierum plantarum animaliumque aestimat. Organzatio enim usum opes naturae more progressu durabili et allevationem paupertatis promovet.
Consociatio die 5 Octobris 1948 Fontis Bleaudi in Francia constituta est. Die 3 Martii 1973, Consociatio Foedum Vasingtoniensem (CITES) decreavit.
