Aliqui, opere anno 1915 Gualteri Tennyson Swingle secuti, hanc speciem in genus Fortunella erigere suaserunt. In Serica austro-orientali sponte gignitur; in Iaponia et alibi colitur propter fructus comestibiles, omnium fere citrorum minimos.
