Musica priscorum temporum (Anglice old-time music) est genus musicae vulgaris Americae Septentrionalis, quod in musica vulgari variarum culturarum Hiberniae, Britanniae, Africae, et Europae Continentalis atque ex variis saltationibus vulgaribus Americae Septentrionalis ortum est, sicut saltatio quadrata, saltatio flatfoot, saltatio buck, et clogging. Genus etiam ballatas et alia genera carminum vulgarium amplectitur. Instrumentis acusticis agitur, plerumque mixturam exprimens violinarum et chordophonorum carptorum, saepissime citharae et baniones.
