Basilius Nicetae filius Tatiščev (Russice: Василий Никитич Татищев, tr. Vasilij Nikitič Tatiščev; natus in districtu Pscoviensi die 19 Aprilis[1] 1686, mortuus in pago Boldino gubernii Moscuensis die 15 Iulii[2] 1750) fuit historicus, geographus, oeconomus, atque rerum politicarum peritus Russicus. Actionibus militaribus Russiae contra Sueciam (e.g. in proelio Poltavensi) et Imperium Ottomanicum interfuit. Conditor urbium Stauropolis ad Rham (nunc Togliatti), Catharinopolis, et Permiae fuit. Primum opus capitale de historia Russica (nomine «История Российская», i.e. "Historia Rossica") scripsit.
