이이즈카 타카시

초기 경력

그의 경력은 세가의 소닉 3 & 너클즈의 디자인을 하는 것에서부터 시작되었다. 이후, 그는 소닉 R의 개발에 참가하게 되었으며, 일본에서는 나이츠 인투 드림즈의 대표 디자이너였다. 그는 소닉 어드벤처에도 참가하였으며, 롤 플레잉 게임을 제안한 것도 그였다.

세가 스튜디오 USA

1999년, 그와 소닉 팀의 일부는, 이후의 세가 스튜디오 USA가 되는 소닉 팀 USA를 설립하기 위해 샌프란시스코로 가게 된다. 본 목적은 소닉 어드벤처의 국제적 발매와 구미 시장의 피드백 취득이었으며,  이후 소닉 어드벤처 2와 소닉 히어로즈, 섀도 더 헤지호그, 그리고 나이츠: 꿈으로의 여정을 주도하고 디자인을 하는 역할을 맡았다. 또, 구미 시장을 더 넓히기 위해 백본 엔터테인먼트로 하여금 PSP용 게임 발매를 촉진시켰다.

현재

2008년 세가의 북미 지점이 다시 일본 본사로 흡수되면서, 현재 그는 2010년부터 소닉 팀의 프로듀서이자 수장으로서 일하고 있다.
