게라르드 다비드

게라르드 다비드(Gerard David, 1460년 경 ~ 1523년 7월 13일)는 색을 재치있게 사용한 것으로 유명한 플랑드르파 화가이다.

The Virgin among the Virgins (1509)

하르렘에서 수업하고 15세기 말엽에 브뤼쥐로 가서 그곳 전통의 최후를 장식하였다. 풍경묘사에 대한 관심을 가지고 다음 세기를 예견하게 된다. 대표작으로는 <그리스도의 세례>, <밀크 수프를 먹이는 성모> 등이 있으며, 그 후에 몬스 출신의 얀 프로포스트(Jan Provost)는 브뤼쥐에서 대두하는 안트워프파(派)의 영향을 받았다.
