ეპოქა — ასტრონომიაში დროის მომენტი, რომლისთვისაც განსაზღვრულია ასტრონომიული კოორდინატები ან ორბიტის ელემენტები. პრეცესიის გათვალისწინებით და ასევე საკუთარი მოძრაობით ასტრონომიული კოორდინატები შეიძლება ავითვალოთ ერთი ეპოქიდან მეორემდე. ორბიტალური ელემენტების შემთხვევაში აუცილებელია ყურადღება მივაქციოთ სხვა სხეულების ზემოქმედებას, რათა გამოვთვალოთ ორბიტალური ელემენტები დროის სხვა მომენტებისათვის.
