ვირთევზა (ლათ. Gadus morhua) — თევზი, ვირთევზასნაირთა რიგისა. მისი სხეულის სიგრძეა დაახლოებით 180 სმ, წონა — 40 კგ. გავრცელებულია ატლანტის და წყნარი ოკეანის ზომიერ სარტყელში. მნიშვნელოვანი სარეწაო ობიექტია. მისი ღვიძლისაგან ამზადებენ მაღალხარისხოვან თევზის ქონს, რომელიც დიდი რაოდენობით შეიცავს A და D ვიტამინებს.
