悪自在の演技力を持つ異色のバイプレイヤーとして数々の印象的な演技を残している。 海外製作の映画にも出演しており、ワーナー・ブラザースの『Women of Valor』（1986年）では日本軍の鬼軍曹役でフィリピン・ロケに、イギリス・オーストラリア合作の『HEROES 2』（1991年）ではシドニー・ロケに参加した。
