て追認した後追型の国際デーも存在する。なお国際連合が定めた日(10月24日)は、特に国連の日(en:United Nations Day)ともよばれ、その期間を国連週間(United Nations Week,10月20日〜26日)ともいう。 国連デーを含む国際デーには、世界各地で記念行事が行われる。
