Safamýri er gata í Háaleitis- og Bústaðahverfi í Reykjavík sem tengist Háaleitisbraut í báða enda, við gatnamót Ármúla í norðri en Fellsmúla í suðaustri. Útfrá Safamýri ganga sömuleiðis göturnar Starmýri og Álftamýri.
Ákvörðun um götuheitið var tekin á fundi byggingarnefndar Reykjavíkurbæjar snemma árs 1958.[1] Farið var að úthluta lóðum við Safamýri á árinu 1960 og byggðist hún hratt upp á næstu árum.
Safamýrarskóli starfaði við Safamýri 5 og dró nafn sitt af götunni. Hann var sérskóli á grunnskólastigi sem þjónaði öllu landinu.[2]
Knattspyrnufélagið Fram hefur höfuðstöðvar sínar í Safamýri 26. Þar er íþróttahús, félagsaðstaða, upphitaður gervigrasvöllur og grasæfingasvæði.
Tónabær, félagsmiðstöð ÍTR er starfrækt í Safamýri 28, í húsnæði sem upphaflega var reist sem félagsheimili Knattspyrnufélagsins Fram.
Rithöfundurinn og ljóðskáldið Gerður Kristný ólst upp í Safamýri.
