National Park Service (NPS) adalah lembaga federal AS yang mengelola semua taman nasional, berbagai monumen nasional, dan properti konservasi dan bersejarah lainnya dengan bermacam penetapan gelar.[1] Lembaga ini dibentuk pada 25 Agustus 1916 oleh Kongres melalui National Park Service Organic Act.[2]

NPS adalah lembaga Departemen Dalam Negeri Amerika Serikat, sebuah departemen eksekutif federal yang ketuanya, Menteri Dalam Negeri, adalah pejabat Kabinet yang dicalonkan oleh Presiden dan disetujui oleh Senat.
