Alexander Nikolayevich Tcherepnin (bahasa Rusia:Алекса́ндр Никола́евич Черепни́н; 21 Januari 1899–29 September 1977) adalah seorang komponis dan pianis kelahiran Rusia. Ayahnya, Nikolai Tcherepnin (murid dari Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov), dan putra-putranya, Serge Tcherepnin dan Ivan Tcherepnin, serta dua cucunuya (putra-putra Ivan), Sergei dan Stefan, merupakan komponis. Putranya, Serge, terlibat dalam pengembangan terawal terhadap instrumen dan musik elektronik. Ibunya adalah anggota keluarga Benois, seorang kemenakan dari Alexandre Benois.
