कर्नाटक दक्षिण भारत में स्थित एक राज्य है, जिसका गठन १ नवंबर १९५६ को किया गया था। १ नवम्बर १९७३ को राज्य का नाम मैसूर से बदलकर कर्नाटक किया गया था। कर्नाटक राज्य को ४ मण्डलों में बांटा गया है।
