जीववैज्ञानिक जीवन चक्र (biological life cycle), या केवल जीवन चक्र (life cycle), उन बदलावों का क्रम है जिसमें कोई जीव निकलता है और अंततः अपनी आरम्भिक रूप व स्थिति में लौट जाता है। जीव जन्मता है और आयु के साथ विकसित होता है और फिर प्रजनन कर के अगली पीढ़ी को जन्म देता है। अलग-अलग जीववैज्ञानिक जातियों का जीवन चक्र भी भिन्न होता है। किसी में प्रजनन लैंगिक होता है और किसी में अलैंगिक।[1]
