ઝારખંડ ભારતના મધ્યપૂર્વ ભાગમાં આવેલ રાજ્ય છે. તેનું પાટનગર રાંચી છે. નવેમ્બર ૧૫, ૨૦૦૦ ના રોજ આ રાજ્ય બિહાર માંથી છુટું પડ્યું હતું. ઝારખંડ તેની ભરપૂર ખનીજ સંપત્તિ માટે જાણીતું છે.
