Susan Alexandra Weaver, nada o 8 de outubro de 1949 en Manhattan, Nova York, é unha actriz e produtora de cinema, televisión e teatro estadounidense coñecida profesionalmente como Sigourney Weaver.
Ó longo da súa traxectoria foi nomeada ós Premios Óscar e ós Premios do Sindicato de Actores. Ademais, é gañadora de dous Globos de Ouro nas categorías de mellor actriz en drama e mellor actriz secundaria. Asemade, tamén gañou un Premio BAFTA á mellor actriz secundaria.
É recoñecida internacionalmente polas súas intervencións como Tenente Ripley en Alien (1979), Aliens (1986), Alien 3 (1992) e Alien: Resurrection (1997). Tamén ten participado en filmes de grande éxito como Ghostbusters (1984), Gorillas in the Mist (1988), Working Girl (1988), The Village (2004) e Avatar (2009).
