A cova Devetàshka (en búlgaro: Деветашката пещера) é unha gran cova cárstica a uns 7 km ó leste de Letnitsa e a 15 km ó nordeste de Lovech, preto da vila de Devetaki, na beira leste do río Osam, en Bulgaria. O sitio foi ocupado de xeito continuo por paleohumanos durante milleiros de anos, serviu como refuxio para varias especies de animais e no presente é o fogar de 30 000 morcegos.[1]
Ademais de importantes descubrimentos arqueolóxicos, a cova Devetashka é o hábitat dunha ampla faunal local. Durante a estación de cría das especies mamíferas, entre comezos de xuño e finais de xullo, a cova está completamente pechada ós visitantes. Na cova habitan doce especies protexidas de anfibios e réptiles, incluíndo o Zamenis longissimus, o Triturus cristatus, a ra de Santo Antón (Hyla arborea), a tartaruga mediterránea (Testudo hermanni), oitenta e dúas especies de paxaros, trece das cales están incluídas na Lista Vermella da IUCN. Trinta e catro especies de mamíferos, catro delas na Lista Vermella e quince especies de morcegos poden ser vistos na cova.[2]
