Tyttökullat (The Golden Girls) on Susan Harrisin luoma yhdysvaltalainen komediasarja, joka kertoo kolmesta temperamenttisesta keski-ikäisestä ja yhdestä kahdeksankymppisestä naisesta Miamissa^[1]. Sarjaa kuvattiin Yhdysvalloissa vuosina 1985–1992. Sarjaa on ollut käsikirjoittamassa myös Marc Cherry, joka on luonut sarjan Täydelliset naiset.

Suomessa sarjaa alettiin esittää Yle TV2 -kanavalla lokakuussa 1986^[1]. Myöhemmin sitä on esittänyt myös Nelonen.

Sarjan tunnusmusiikki on Cynthia Feen "Thank You for Being a Friend".

Dorothy Zbornak

Dorothy Zbornak (o.s. Petrillo) on kotoisin New Yorkin Brooklynista. Isä Salvadore Petrillo on kuollut, mutta äiti Sophia asuu nyt Dorothyn kanssa samassa talossa. Sophia kutsuu tytärtään lempinimellä kisuli (engl. pussycat). Dorothylla on etäinen transvestiittiveli Phil ja pikkusisko Gloria. Dorothy on eronnut Stanley Zbornakista ja nyt hänet tunnetaan sinkkunaisena, jolla on ollut muutama suhde. Dorothy on ammatiltaan äidinkielen opettaja, jolla on lähinnä sijaisopettajan pestejä.

Rose Nylund

Rose Nylund (o.s. Lindstrom) on kotoisin minnesotalaisesta maalaiskaupungista St. Olafista, josta hän kertoo uskomattomia tarinoita vaikkeivät muut niitä jaksaisi kuunnella. Höpsölle Roselle sattuu usein jotain noloa tai hän nolaa asuinkumppaninsa. Rose ei osaa lukea rivien välistä eikä ymmärrä sarkasmia, jota hän kuulee varsinkin Dorothylta. Rose on ollut naimisissa, mutta jäänyt leskeksi. Rose on töissä neuvontakeskuksessa.

Blanche Devereaux

Blanche Devereaux (o.s. Hollingsworth) on alun perin kotoisin Atlantasta, mutta muutti Miamiin kun jäi leskeksi. Blanche ja Dorothy ovat neljästä asuinkumppanista useimmiten selväpäisimmät. Blanche on naisista aktiivisimmin kiinnostunut miehistä, mutta vakavaa parisuhdetta hän ei ole onnistunut luomaan.

Sophia Petrillo

Sophia Petrillo on Dorothyn yli 80-vuotias äiti, joka muuttaa sarjan ensimmäisessä jaksossa tyttärensä luokse asumaan, koska hänen hoivakodissaan on sattunut tulipalo. Sophialla on tapana kertoilla uskomattomia ja välillä keksittyjäkin tarinoita nuoruudestaan ja elämästään köyhässä sisilialaiskylässä. Sophia on muuttanut vuonna 1920 Yhdysvaltoihin ja elänyt New Yorkin Brooklynissä aviomiehensä Salvadoren ja kolmen lapsensa (Dorothyn, Gloria ja Phil) kanssa. Sophia on selvinnyt aivoinfarktista, jonka sanotaan kuitenkin muokanneen häntä niin, että hän ei kykene kontrolloimaan puhettaan, vaan sanoo suoraan mitä ajattelee.
