Apoptygma Berzerk on norjalainen yhtye, jonka perustivat vuonna 1989 Stephan Groth ja Jon Erik Martinsen.

Yhtye aloitti uransa soittamalla elektronista musiikkia, johon olivat antaneet tyylillisesti eniten vaikutteita synthpop ja EBM. Yhtye julkaisi ensimmäisen levynsä Ashes to Ashes vuonna 1991 ja ensimmäisen pitkäsoittonsa Soli Deo Gloria vuonna 1994. Vuonna 2000 julkaistu levy Welcome to Earth merkitsi jonkinlaista muutosta yhtyeen tyylissä, sillä levyn äänimaailma oli huomattavasti aiempaa modernimpi ja sisälsi runsaasti vaikutteita trance-musiikista. Vuonna 2002 julkaistu levy Harmonizer jatkoi edeltäjänsä viitoittamalla tiellä. Vuonna 2005 julkaistu You And Me Against The World esitteli täysin uudenlaisen Apoptygma Berzerkin, sillä levyn musiikkia voi kutsua lähinnä rockiksi.

Stephan Grothilla on sivuprojekti nimeltä Fairlight Children.
