گاستریکسین

گاستریکسین (انگلیسی: Gastricsin) که با نامِ پپسینوژن سی (انگلیسی: Pepsinogen C) هم شناخته می‌شود، یک آنزیم است که در انسان توسط ژن «PGC» کُدگذاری می‌شود.

این آنزیم نوعی آسپارتیک پروتئاز است که به خانوادهٔ پپتیدازهای A1 تعلق دارد.

چندریختی در این ژن، احتمالاً با استعداد افراد در ابتلا به سرطان معده مرتبط است. سطح سرمی این آنزیم به‌عنوان یک نشانگر زیستی در برخی بیماری‌های معده همچون «گاستریتِ وابسته به هلیکوباکتر پیلوری» به‌کار می‌رود.
