Idus (latinez: īdus, femenino plurala soilik), antzinako erromatar egutegiko hitza, hamabi hilabeteetako zortzietatik 13. egunari deitzen zitzaiona (Ianuarius, Februarius, Aprilis, Iunius, Sextilis, September, November eta December; baita tarteraturiko Mercedonius hilean ere), eta baita gainerako lau hilabeteetatik 15ari ere (Martius, Maius, Quintilis et October). Idusen aitzineko egunari pridie idus (Prid. Id. laburtua) zioten.
K.a. 44. urteko Martxoko Idusetan (hau da, martxoaren 15ean) Ponpeioren antzokirako bidean zihoala Julio Zesar hil zuten.[1]
