Suitid (läti Suiti) on läti keelt kõnelev balti rahvas, mille ajalooline keskus on Alsunga. Tänapäeval on suite ligikaudu 2500.

Suite eristab lätlastest katoliku usk, ka on nende kultuuris säilinud vanapäraseid jooni. Kultuuriliste eripärade tõttu ei ole kõik suitide aladel elavad katoliiklased suitid.
Aastail 1573–1738 olid Alsunga mõisa omanikud Schwerinid. 1623. aastal võttis toonane mõisnik Johan Ulrich von Schwerin poola päritolu preili Barbara Konarskaga abiellumiseks vastu katoliku usu ja tõi Alsungasse jesuiidid. Nende misjonitöö tagajärjel pöördus osa rahvast katoliku usku, tänapäeval elavad nende järglased Lätis suitide rahvakilluna. Rahva nimetus tulenebki jesuiitidest. 1623. aastal valmis ka suitide keskuseks olev Alsunga katoliku kirik.
Tänapäeval elavad suidid Alsunga vallas, aga ka mõnes ümbritsevas vallas. Suitide kultuur kuulub Läti kultuurikaanonisse, samuti ka UNESCO inimkonna suulise ja vaimse pärandi meistriteoste nimekirja.[1]
