Biografía
Nació en Statesboro, Georgia, junto a su madre y su padrastro. Su padrastro trabajo en la Base del Cuerpo de Marines en Quantico, como apoyo civil. Su madre daba sermones en la iglesia utilizando títeres, McBride se crio en Spotsylvania, Virginia, donde se graduó de la Courtland High School y asistió a la escuela de Carolina del Norte de las Artes en Winston-Salem, Carolina del Norte.
McBride se casó con Gia Ruiz en octubre de 2010 y tuvo un hijo llamado Declan, nacido en el año 2011.
