Dezerta vitro aŭ Libia dezerta vitro (LDG) estas trovita en (dekkilometraj) sablaj dezertaj regionoj en la Libia dezerto, Afriko. Dezerta vitro ankaŭ troviĝas en suda Aŭstralio.
La plej akceptita teorio pri deveno de la vitro estas la meteroitfrapo. Tion fortigis osmium-izotopaj mezuroj kaj enfermaĵoj en ĝi. Laŭ mezuroj, la vitro estiĝis antaŭ 28,5 milionoj da jaroj.
