The Vel is a river in Konoshsky and Velsky Districts of Arkhangelsk Oblast in Russia. It is a left tributary of the Vaga. It is 223 kilometres (139 mi) long, and the area of its basin 5,390 square kilometres (2,080 sq mi). Its average discharge is 47.7 cubic metres per second (1,680 cu ft/s). Its main tributaries are the Podyuga and the Shonosha.
