As of the 2020 United States census, the city's population was 2,499, a decrease of 78 (−3.0%) from the 2010 census count of 2,577, which in turn had reflected a decline of 84 (−3.2%) from the 2,661 counted in the 2000 census. The city and all of Burlington County constitute a part of the Philadelphia-Reading-Camden combined statistical area and the Delaware Valley.
