- (literature, film) Of or relating to the narrator of a dramatic work who is also the protagonist or other character in the work.
- 2018, Nicole Seymour, Bad Environmentalism, page 185:
- The second part of the novella, including chapters 13-15, is more personal and reflective. Here, our apparently heterodiegetic narrator reveals himself to be homodiegetic: to be Tanner's sidekick BB Trane, previously referred to in the third person.
