(Late Middle English) Alternative form of gode. The Century Dictionary, under the definition of "stead", lists the following quote from the York Plays, p. 127. Lorde God! that all goode has by-gonne, And all may ende both goode and euvll,... ., Can the definition of "goode" be updated to reflect such usage?
