    • 1952, Warren Herbert Wagner, The Fern Genus Diellia: Its Structure, Affinities and Taxonomy:
      The simplest leaf, as in Diellia, has a single unbranched trace, but the more fully developed early fronds are markedly anisotomous or pinnate in venation plan, with a definite central vein giving rise to two to four or more lateral veins, which arise at a very acute angle.
