Yahouthengba Khoimu

Yahouthengba Khoimu (English: Latecomer Bee) is a 2025 Manipuri film directed by Rakesh Naorem.[1] It is produced by Dr. R.K. Nayansana Devi under the banner of Ipak Films Production, Manipur and presented by Jaideep Memorial Foundation.[2] Avi Khundrakpam, Ithoi Oinam and Ratana Kshetrimayum star as the leads.[3] The film is inspired by Dr. R.K. Nayansana's short story Sanarik Pareng.[4] It was released at Manipur State Film Development Society (MSFDS), Imphal on 9 January 2025. A Delhi premiere was also held at Muktadhara Auditorium on 13 January 2025.[5] The movie was screened at the 2nd North East India Film Festival, Manipur 2025 under the non-competition section (NEIFF Spectrum).[6][7][8][9] It also got official selection at the International Film Festival of Telangana 2025.[10][11][12]

Plot
Thaballeima, a simple village girl, marries Babuchouba, a city-based government employee. When he is transferred and drawn to a divorcee, she faces heartbreak but chooses love over confrontation, ultimately winning him back with her unwavering devotion.

Soundtrack
