The Waco metropolitan statistical area, as defined by the United States Census Bureau, is an area consisting of McLennan, Falls and Bosque counties in Central Texas, anchored by the city of Waco. As of the 1 April 2020 census (which includes all 3 Counties), the MSA had a population of 295,782.[1] The 2023 population estimate was 304,865 which includes Bosque County (added to the Waco MSA in 2023).[2]
