Hi Dfrg.msc. Thanks very much for the birthday wishes - and sorry about my delayed response :D. ck lostsword|queta!|Suggestions? 21:11, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
Hi you sought my comments on your RFA. Yes I am the user formerly known as A Y Arktos; I am sorry I should have made it clearer in my RFA comments. A lot of wikipedians think a few months and we can overlook past behaviour. I am not quite such a fan of recentism. I appreciate people can mature I just think it takes a little longer. To change my mind I would need demonstrable cooperative encyclopaedic editing and participation in editing projects. I think the encyclopaedia is built on editing, obviously tools to counter vandals, protect pages, etc are desirable but they need to be used maturely by people who are in tune with creating the project. Regards --Golden Wattle talk 10:11, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
Hey there! I'm glad that you're not disheartened by the results and I hope you do ask for buttons in the future. Apologies for the somewhat delayed response (on holiday), but if you're still looking for feedback, the best advice I can offer is to treat each user like a real person who is volunteering their valuable time and efforts to this project, much as you are. I'm not very active in the way of clicking my own extra buttons, so apologies if you were looking for something a bit more "adminy", hehe :). gaillimhConas tá tú? 11:01, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

Hi, To assist global anti-counterfeiting efforts you may wish to consider marking images of banknotes you upload as "Specimen" in some way, if those banknotes represent legal tender.ShakespeareFan00 16:22, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
Can you provide some input into the following discussion? [] I'm trying to merge all historical race articles into a single all encompassing article and I'd appreciate some input. Most of the articles to be merged are stubs or articles bulked up with uncited information and it would benefit to have them all condensed into a single article detailing the historical concepts of race. Thanks. Wikidudeman (talk) 18:15, 24 June 2007 (UTC)

Thank you very much for the Barnstar Award! I appreciate the recognition, but I'm a little confused about what it was that I did that inspired this award. I'm mostly an under-the-radar kind of editor, and I don't notice anything you and I have both worked on. Whatever it was, I'll try to do more of it! ☺ ~ Jeff Q (talk) 09:48, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

Dfrg.msc has been identified as an Awesome Wikipedian, Love, A record of your Day will always be kept here. |
My sweet, dear Nick, sometimes I find myself with so little time in my hands to visit every good friend whom I admire wholeheartedly, and love deeply, like you. I fear my silence sometimes may be mistaken with lack of interest... and gestures as beautiful and warm like you've gifted me in the past, will always stay with me, forever. For this, I simply needed to tell you how special you are, how important I feel you are to our community, as an editor, as a person, and as a friend. I cross fingers that, in the next future, my real life obligations don't interfere with my wishes of coming here, and see you and talk to you as often as I'd like. You deserve years and years, rather than the mere day I've gifted you. May that humble gift serve as a token of how important youa re to me, friend! :) Love, Phaedriel - 21:29, 8 July 2007 (UTC)

I see you're not longer that active on here any more - or something gave me that idea, can't really remember... anyways
As my past mediator, I thought I'd just tell you about what's been going on... but there's nothing pressing at the moment. For now I think the situation's stable and calm, but a few things happened. So if you're really bored... have a look...
Well, there you have it.
As for the famous Anal stretching article, I've got at least 1 admin on board that thinks the article should never have been deleted in the first place. There was also this place on Wikipedia - gonna have to look it up again - that showed examples of problems with deletion procedure, and basically argued that the article Anal Stretching shouldn't have been deleted.
So with a bit of luck, we might get an admit to at the very least unprotect the article on Anal Stretching so that somebody/anybody/everybody can recreate it.
Meanwhile some guy wants to merge it with Anal Sex .. which would be the wrong thing to do - if you read the article on what Anal Stretching is actually all about. (But you can't).
Another day with the whacky admins in the Wikipedia circus! Rfwoolf
Hehe, yeah you always miss it. :-) Thanks for your comments. Glad to see you around! Cheers, Húsönd 00:05, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

I also just saw this image of yours. Is it for blasting vandals? :) — $PЯIПGrαgђ 15:08, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
Hi. I removed the images because I didn't think they contributed to the encyclopedic content of the respective articles. "A tank stencil" containing "coming soon" doesn't add any encyclopedic information to Tank that I can divine. And if, as implied by your own inclusion of the image in the articles "Pacifism", "Opposition to the Iraq War", "Criticism of the War on Terrorism", it carries a political message, then displaying it in the article seems inappropriate to me, particularly if you created the image yourself for this purpose ("source: self-made" is unclear on whether you created the image or just took a photo of it; if the latter, then someone else may hold copyright over the stencilled image). I don't think "A stencil of a Super Mushroom from the video game Super Mario" adds any encyclopedic information to Mushroom either, nor do links to stencil, Super Mushroom and Super Mario.
Sorry for not justifying my removal in the edit summaries; by the nature of the images, I assumed their addition was just for larks. If you think they are justified, then please explain the rationale on the respective articles' talk pages. Regards. —Michael Z. 2007-07-14 15:17 Z

Hi! Im an English teacher in Toluca Mexico (west of Mexico City). My Advanced B classes will be contributing to Wikipedia as the focus of their English course for Fall 2007. I am looking for people who would like to mentor my students (who will be working in groups) as they do the following assignments: Edit and article (adding a citation), writing a stub with a citation, translating an English language article for Spanish Wikipedia and for the final project, writing a full article for English Wiki (they can expand on the stub mentioned previously). What I would like to do is put a list of "mentors/adopters" on my talk page as a kind of short cut for my students, who have limited time to get things done. The semester begings Aug 6, but the real Wikipedia work wont begin until the beginning of Sept. If you would like to add your name to my list, please go to my talk page and add it there, perhaps with a short introduction, if you like.
Thank you!

Anyway, I'm so happy your trip to the coast was so pleasant, and I say that with a little envy: I haven't been able to go to the sea for ages now! Hey dude, just about to review the Banksy article for GA and I noticed that it already was a GA. What's going on? I think it needs to be delisted and a bit more work on it (which I'd describe in more detail during the review) before it makes GA. I'll hold on reviewing it until you can tell me what's going on! Hello Dfrg, and thank you for the cool pic and bar. I cannot, however, allow your death machine to be operational. By sticking this flag to your page, I hereby claim it for Portugal. Your death machine is now under Portuguese jurisdiction. It cannot be operational unless you fill 70 forms available in 70 different departments spread across the country, pay the respective fees, and wait until around the time the New Horizons probe reaches Pluto for approval. You may however drive your death machine on the highway just for fun. Speed limits are negligible around here. Cheers, Húsönd 23:35, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
