Wikipedia editor From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I have officially lost almost all interest in editing Wikipedia and I thought I should retire after over 5 years of editing on this site. This place is much less interesting than it was when I first joined under my old account and I'm finally trying to move forward and away from this site which I first became interested in when I was a little 9 year old in 2009. So since I'm about done with editing Wikipedia and decided it's not for me anymore, wish me luck on my future endeavors.:) StevenD99 21:51, 26 November 2014 (UTC)

This user is very kind. Feel free to roll back all of their edits and CSD all of their pages. They will just report you to WP:AN/I and WP:AIV. Then you'll probably get blocked indef. That's all.
This user is nosy. In fact, they're looking at your contribs right now.

I roundhouse kicked the Bermuda Triangle when it was still a square and made it a triangle.
This user thinks that evil geniuses aren't really that smart.
This user has edited at least 7 articles!!! {wow}
7!!
rant
It is more cathartic to curse the darkness than to light one stupid candle.
This user knows that their user page is a mess, and likes it that way.
This user knows you just looked behind you!
This user has just wasted both their time and yours placing this userbox on their profile, because it says absolutely nothing important, interesting or relevant to anything.
LOL
This user exists. This is not claiming that this user is not a bot, sockpuppet, blocked user, or inactive user, it is just stating that this user EXISTS. He/She/It/They would like to point out that the reader must exist as well.

Cut what was becoming an infinite number of userboxes off here to prevent your getting eye strain.
This user was up all night finding userboxes and is now very drowsy.
TOO FAR!!!
I have decided to end my crusade now as I have just gone too far!!!.
END
This user is now brain-thrashingly insane because this user has no more userboxes.
no life
If you've really read all userboxes up until this one, you have no life.
Hey guys, and welcome to my userpage. For several years now, I have found many useful facts from Wikipedia. My username is StevenD99, and I'm a teenager who lives in Huntington Beach, California. I have been editing Wikipedia for 5 years, but I was only editing under this account since August 2013. Contribs from before that time are located here, under my old account of "Steve2011". Most of the time, I fight vandalism, do the new page patrol, do copyediting and grammar corrections on articles, use AutoEd to clean pages (especially the Today's Featured Article if it does need cleaning), and help with WikiProjects Tropical Cyclones and Amusement Parks. I use Twinkle to revert vandalism and tag pages for speedy deletion, but since I have the rollback right, I use Huggle to revert vandalism and plan on using STiki sometime soon. I also hope to become an admin sometime in the future. If you want to see more info about me, check out my userboxes. And also, I am a WikiCat, a WikiGnome, a WikiGoon, and a WikiGiant.
Things I do on here most of the time
Reverting vandalism
Voting in RfAs and AfDs
Doing the new-page patrol
Copyediting and correcting grammar
AutoEd
Helping out with WikiProjects Tropical Cyclones and Amusement Parks
And finally, signing people's guestbooks and chatting with my wiki-friends (although I try not to do this very often or I will break this policy.)
What I hate seeing on Wikipedia
People vandalizing articles and attacking others
When people vandalize my userpage or talk page or attack me
Seeing others semi-retire or retire
When other people beat me to reverting vandalism
When people create sockpuppets to vandalize Wikipedia
How did I get my username? + My interests
It's a combination of "Steven" (my first name), "D" (The first initial of my last name), and "99" (the last 2 digits of the year I was born in).
Here is my current signature: StevenD99 02:50, 2 June 2014 (UTC)
Here's some of my real-life interests (I know this doesn't have anything to do with Wikipedia but I'm just gonna include them anyway):
Meteorology
Astronomy
Tropical cyclones
Rollercoasters/Theme parks
Extreme sports
Highways
Science
Skyscrapers
Music (More specifically Rock, Pop, Dance/Club, and Hip Hop)
Computers
Football
Basketball
And much more!
My history on Wikipedia-pre account
I first started to read Wikipedia a long time ago (around 2006/2007). Reading articles back then helped me learn new things. In late 2008, I began editing Wikipedia under the IP of 75.83.148.71. I might have edited before that, but I can't find these edits. It later changed to 75.83.139.234 and 66.74.234.177.
First couple months
On July 18, 2009, I made my first account, December21st2012Freak. I chose that username because back then I was so scared that the world would 'end' on December 21, 2012, and I used to think it would actually happen. Why did I believe that? Well, first and most important of all was how old I was back then, I was only 9 years old when I created that account! It was only a month before my 10th birthday, more specifically. Even though I was that young, I still tried to constructively edit and revert vandalism. If you want to see my earliest edits under my old account, check these out. Once August 2009 came, I became more experienced, and I was using Twinkle to revert vandalism instead of the "undo" button. I also used to edit the Wikipedia:Sandbox a lot because I thought it was fun, and that was also where I did some very immature edits (since I was only 9/10 back then). Also in August, I got the rollback feature, started using Huggle, and began creating and improving articles, something a young kid probably won't do.
The rest of 2009
In September 2009, I continued to revert vandalism and began talking with some new wiki-friends such as Spongefrog and White Shadows. I continued with my original editing style until November 2009, when I stopped editing the Sandbox and improved more articles. In December, I revamped my userpage to a much cleaner style, since the older style was very cluttered. If you want to see my oldest userpage from late 2009, check this out.
Me in 2010
Once 2010 came, I wasn't as addicted to off-topic posting on user talk pages as I was in 2009, and I improved more articles and reverted more vandalism. Later that year, I started to copyedit lots of articles, and participated in thesecopyediting drives. I also stopped reverting vandalism by late 2010 for some reason. During 2010, I also matured a little bit compared to 2009.
Me in 2011 and my "retirement"
In 2011, I continued to improve articles and check for their grammar. In March 2011, I changed my username to Steve2011 because I didn't believe in that doomsday prediction anymore. The doomsday prediction eventually failed, like all end of the world predictions do. After that, I started to become less active, and soon became semi-retired. This was the last edit I made to an article under my old account before I began to take the long break between the last edit on my old account and the creation of my new account in February 2012 when I was 12 years old, when I posted a "retirement" message on my user and talk pages even though I wouldn't retire permanently.
My return to Wikipedia and the creation of this account
In August 2013, I created this account called "StevenD99". Between the retirement of my old account and the creation of this account, I edited Wikipedia only 1 time, and it was this edit. That edit, in fact, happened only a couple weeks before the creation of this account. Since I created this account, I have started to revert vandalism again and do other stuff to help the wiki. However, beginning in September 2013, I started to become less active and started to take wikibreaks due to school and also being too busy on other parts of the internet.
Inactivity throughout late 2013-2014 and my retirement
Throughout late 2013 and the whole year of 2014 I was relatively inactive, editing only sometimes or when I felt like editing. I was too busy on other sites during this time. On November 26, 2014, after continuing to be inactive despite plans to return to very active editing, I officially retired from this site.
My goals
Become an expert vandal fighter (once again)
Create a few articles and maybe expand some articles to GA status if I can
Join in on AfD, RFA, and other discussions
Join more wikiprojects
Work my way towards becoming an admin in a few years
Barnstars
My barnstars under this account are located here. If you want to see the barnstars of my old account, they are here.
