So, this is my user page. It's nothing yet, but you just wait until I actually have time to care to make one. I hope this will suffice for the time being.

Anyway, just to let anyone out there know, I see myself as more of an editor than an actual article author. I do, however, focus my knowledge around:

  • Computers
    • Intermediate to Advanced HTML Code
    • Windows
      • OS Operations
      • Troubleshooting
      • Intermediate Networking
      • Programs
        • How-to's
    • Linux
      • Basic Installations
      • Basic Terminal Commands
      • Distributions I use (or have used)
        • Mandriva Live
          • Not necessarily free, but okay despite the fact that it's almost impossible to install a program on it without prior knowledge of Linux programming. Yes, I did install the OS to my computer first...
        • DreamLinux
          • Really cool and everything, but I never could get it to install onto my computer... Darn shame, too.
        • ubuntu (Currently using this)
          • Really cool distribution of Linux! I was really impressed with it, even though I didn't get the most recent one (yeah, I need to update...). It actually TELLS the user that programs can be installed with the built-in program downloader/installer (which works really well) OR be installed if it's a Debian installation file (.deb), all without messing with the whole source code stuff that I can never seem to make work.

So, yeah. You might see me around this site (but probably not much, considering I'm a new user and actually have a life). To contribute to the vast and ever-expanding project here on Wikipedia, I tend to edit articles (instead of creating articles) and fix links, usually by:

  1. Reading Articles that have been brought to my attention (through various sources, whether random, friend, or interest)
  2. Analyzing information (as all Great Edits usually begin)
  3. Spell-Checking (yes, even geniuses make mistakes)
  4. Simple rewording of sentences that could be made more clear
  5. Try to establish format or pattern in someone else's writing (and my own for that matter), including:
    1. Consistent article/section titles
    2. Lists of information where long sentence fragments once laid
    3. Some data tables
  6. Minor reorganization if article is in severe need (Please Remember: I have a life!)
  7. I do leave comments/summaries on what I did in the article and why, so no one will get confused (hopefully) and accidentally roll back my changes...

I also tend to contribute to individual Article Talk pages if it:

  1. Concerns or is directed to me or one of my (edited) articles
  2. Concerns the deletion or otherwise alteration of an article (such as Merging two articles together that aren't related)

So, yeah. That's me... Feel free to Talk to me...
