Umrahme was developed by Traveazy Group in 2017 to address logistical challenges and information gaps faced by agents and pilgrims, introducing a digital approach to Umrah bookings. [4]It was initially launched as a B2B solution and later relaunched as a B2C brand, allowing pilgrims to book directly online.[5][4]
Umrahme was co-founded by Mohammed BinMahfouz, who has over 23 years of experience in Hajj & Umrah, travel and tourism, hospitality, IT, and banking. He serves as the CEO of Umrahme.[6]
The platform has been noted for its role in streamlining the planning and management of Umrah, allowing pilgrims to better focus on the spiritual aspects of their journey.[7][8][9]
