Tornado Football Club, commonly known as Tornado, is an Indonesian football team based in Pekanbaru, Riau. They set to play in Liga 2 from 2025–26 after promotion from Liga Nusantara in 2024–25[1] and their homebase is Kaharudin Nasution Stadium.[2]

History

Tornado FC was founded in 2018. Tornado will play inaugural season in 2018.

Tornado was crowned champions of 2019 Liga 3 Riau and two runner-up in 2021 and 2023.

Tornado joined to Liga Nusantara from 2024–25 after finishing 4th place in Liga 3 National phase Fourth round Group 2.

On 17 February 2025, Tornado were secure promotion to Liga 2 for the first time in their history from next season after defeat PSGC Ciamis 3-0 in matchweek 5 Championship round Group X.
