Career
Born in Rossington,[3] Wren spent his early career with Rossington Colliery and Huddersfield Town.[4] He signed for Bradford City from Huddersfield Town in December 1928.[3] He made 2 league appearances for the club,[5] before joining Portsmouth in June 1930.[3] He later played for Norwich City, Bristol City and Tunbridge Wells Rangers.[4] He died in Lambeth in 1973.[2]
